CUSTOMER HIGHLIGHT
Peak To Sky
“Peak to Sky features two days of world-class rock under the backdrop of 11,166-foot Lone Mountain in Big Sky, Montana.“
When I think of Eventgroove, I think “customized”. You’re able to not only build the platform and put in your requests, but then you have an Eventgroove person who stands beside you to walk you through those steps to get it done and that made Peak to Sky a great success from the ticketing perspective.

Peak to Sky has been a dream and a vision of Outlaw Partners for years, and what it was is to bring world-class musicians to Big Sky. We were able to bring musicians from Guns and Roses, the Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam, and then we also had an amazing Grammy award-winning artists like Brandi Carlile come. We had this incredible opportunity to work with musicians like Mike McCready and Brandi Carlile.
There’s a lot of pressure placed on you as a promoter and producer of a concert, especially when it comes to ticketing. This wasn’t about selling tickets down at the local grocery store. You had to be ready to do an event release that would truly be looked out on the worldwide platform. There’s a very high standard that was set on us on how we would implement the ticketing process for not only the customer, which had to be a seamless process, but also from a tracking perspective and implementation perspective.
Eventgroove was able to produce that for us.
You got to watch your dollars and cents especially when you’re in a smaller promoter like us and being able to have someone like Eventgroove, they felt like a partner with us. They helped us invest in getting our platform set up. We didn’t have to put money into that upfront which is huge.Their success is our success, so as we had success they shared in it, but we were able to control that cost until we got money in our pocket.
A word that I would use to describe Eventgroove would be: “customized.” That’s what we needed to be able to deliver a customized platform for our needs.
When we look at the types of companies we like to work with, we look at the ethics of not only the company but the leader and that’s something that Lance is able to bring to Eventgroove, and it shows through with the team that we end up working with.
What we also really liked about the Eventgroove platform is that they assigned us a point person. Instead of working through a 1-800 number, we got assigned a point person who helped run that platform for us, and that once again, that goes that word, “customized”. You’re able to not only build the platform and put in your requests, but then you have a person who stands beside you to walk you through those steps to get it done and that made Peak to Sky a great success from the ticketing perspective.
We are a small what I’d like to call, family company, and so I love the opportunity of working with other companies that have the building or the makeup of being like a family-run company. That’s exactly what Eventgroove has with Lance who is not only a great, first class human being and a great part of our community, but he also runs a great company that feels like I’m working with a family operation.
