What does carbon neutral mean?
To be carbon neutral, the carbon dioxide a business emits must be offset by an equal amount of CO2 removed from the atmosphere.
Every intercontinental US shipment that leaves our Montana production facility is carbon neutral through UPS’s carbon-neutral program. To ensure carbon neutrality, UPS partnered with world-renowned third-party verification and certification organizations Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS) and Natural Capital Partners to help validate the carbon neutrality.
